GARANG GUNI!!! WU PO ZHUA, WU SA KOR..

Yes, today I was a garang guni with 12 other seniors at Hougang Area.
The total duration = 12hrs

Not bad huh, considering Gary and I was the first there at 9am sharp only to walk to and fro to Hougang Mall for 10 times cause we could not find where our organizer was.
Breakfast was LJS's buttertoast with milo and the initial 4 of us were off to collection.
PS: from 9am to 1pm there was only 4 ppl collecting the newspapers, freaky shiong but great fun.

It was quite an interesting experience cause we get to see alot of different ppl, different dogs ( xinyi is scared of everything that moves!) hahaha, singing ah mas, wierd graffiti by loan sharks, wierd worshipping of deities(Xinyi and I saw this house of chinese ppl worshipping some child god with 5 milk bottles and 5 yakult bottles with straw stuck thru the top as offerings, quite wierd).

At the end of the day, it was great to see the 2 huge truckloads of newspapers and electrical ja pa langs all loaded and full to the brim. Many thanks to the uncles who bought us unlimited 100plus, H2O, everyone drank so much till we were running to the toilet at Hougang Mall at the end of the day.

Morale of the story: Hougang is Hell for today hahaha joking. Fun but tiring.

Xinyi, Gary and I were the only SCAMP seniors attending the FOPAC OCC event today, the rest were all committee members of the Science Club aka tua taus. Got to know alot of new seniors( Shi Jun, John, Hui Ling, Alvin(the guy who threw the ring at me during SOW last yr, but he is a great guy as I found out today, crappy and funny) etc etc..)

Oh oh, after the event we had Cartel @ Hougang Mall and it was BaoYun's birthday haha. Freaking funny, everyone was making fun of her bf cause he brought a slice of American Cheesecake with a candle for her birthday and I was like -_-

I was thinking..

"One piece only? omg, siao or what! like so miser like that!"

Suddenly..... A huge Blueberry cake came into the scene. Both Xinyi and I were caught aback by that.

Me and Xinyi were like.. "Wah, they really know how to act sia. Pro lor. -_-"

Haha, its the POST EXAM FEVER!!!!! I finally had an afternoon nap for the first time in 3 months and it felt so great.


Went for a usual run to build up my weak body, 2 weeks of examination stress in the brain needs to be extinguished once and for all. Playing computer games, chatting, enjoying great music is just exhillarating (:

If you did remember him? I didnt haha I confessed. I heard his song, 'Home' on the radio and I was hooked to it. Real groovy song. "Brings-you-up-when-you're-down" kind of song.

He was the American Idol 5 eliminated contestants. Its really strange, it seems that Taylor Hicks (winner of A I 5) sold less than him? haha, its just strange if you know what i mean. That happened to Rubens Studdard and Clay Aiken. Clay Aiken being the runner-up sold more album that Rubens in the end after the competition.

Moral of the Story: It doesnt mean you have to be a winner to outshine others.

Chris Daughtry is a good example. Did I mention, he sings like Bon Jovi? So Bon Jovi fans, grab hold of his album and listen to it !

Talking about my body, I have to get in shape for Saturday's volleyball session at sentosa. 2 weeks of exams = 2 weeks of no exercising. Spent also the entire exercising my brain instead trying to figure out equation, reactions mechanism, shuttle mechanism other than eating and sleeping its been one way traffic of studying non-stop breathless. Good for those graduating this semester! NO MORE EXAMS for you guys.

From freshman, we turned into seniors as we enter our second year. Time flies, to think that it was only last august we came in and now, we are going to become seniors/ogl for the next orientation camp.

Shit, talking about orientation camps, haha I joined 2 orientation camps, SCAMP [Fun and games] and Science Orientation Camp[More academic but nevertheless still fun]. To those coming to NUS Science enrolling in this coming August, go sign up for the camps. This is to prevent you from having very little friends in school and get to more people. Even if you are an introvert, COME. I'm serious, you need more social networking to get your way around in University. I'm not sure on the dates yet though haha. SOON I guess.

If i havent got so caught up with work that I forgot to sign up for SCAMP last august I would have gone for both camps last year haha. Just too bad.

Tommorrow everyone's gg to meet up at Orchard Sakura for dinner. After eating a buffet, I have to workout 2 times more to get back into shape again ARGH haha. x_x

Thursday going back to the hotel to work. 3 months of holidays to kill ! Some of my friends chose to go for the summer exchange programme, cost a whopping 7k sing dollars just for experience. Aw well, its their choice, I chose not to cause I didnt feel it would do me any good (tts my opinion) (: For others, should be either finding things to kill time or working or tuitioning. Thats how we suppose to spend our holidays before a new academic year and a new semester starts yet again.

Liverpool v Chelsea is on the tele. Catch it, cause I will catch that mammoth match (:

Okay more updates soon since I'm so free. I think tomorrow I will have thai food with alicia haha (:
