It seems like after so many years of education in all the different schools, I've finally ended up in NUS.
Not that i don't like NUS or anything but it seems like the entire school is rather detached in a sense that people that you get acquainted to are somehow just
school friends, they are no longer your
school/buddy/hangout friends that you used to have when you were in JC & secondary school. You know those people that you can play computer games together, meet up and go out together?
Believe me when I say this, people in university rather go out with friends other than those they made in university. Strange but true. I have lotsa of friends telling me this. Haha i'm not making this up! :D
Like today on the way to school in the morning for my test, I saw my secondary/jc friend on the MRT.
Such a coincidence i thought.
He told me how different it was in the past comparing to now. I shared the same sentiments. I told him exactly, it seem really odd. I just can't figure out what is wrong sometimes. Maybe it might be me too.
I guess people in NUS are made to study forcefully because of the circumstances like CAP score, grades, CA that will ultimately determines your intellectual ability at the end of the day.
Everyone WANTS to do well. Everyone WANTS to fight for good grades.
Idk, its just paradoxical. Maybe I haven't merged properly into the school's culture. One more semester?
Well, the hard earned holidays are coming real soon.
Its the start of December. A wonderful month. My birthday month haha. Guess I will be spending my time at work to kill off the holidays instead of staying at home. Earn some cash to sustain my following semester's expenditures :)
All right I guess I will have to stop here today. Im quite tired after my run.
