The Adverse Effects of Arts Modules on Science Students.
Monday, November 20, 2006 0 comments

After exposure to geography module this semester, I'm begining to feel that Arts modules should only be left to ARTS students and Science Students should stick to SCIENCE modules.

This transculturation of exchange and exposure to ARTS modules are no doubt good for the overall development of a holistic education, but its really taking its toll.

This is even so in a nature of a SCIENCE student point of view. Because we are so used to memorising stuff and all.

Arts module is really 100% more interesting than SCIENCE subjects because it deals with living culture which is what we are experiencing everyday. To tackle ARTS module requires alot of reading of articles provided by the lecturers, 'sipping' all the avaliable information and start jotting down notes to make your life easier.

And whats worst, haha language also play a pivitol role. So, its like facts + language = good results. It all adds up to alot of preparation. If you think an Arts module is easy, think again. And the worst thing is, I still have one more obligatory ARTS module to take up in my compulsary study schedule in NUS.

How? Haha, swallow it like a warrior.
Till i blog again ..
